Assisting the Truth Be Told
Program, that consists of three women, in attending ceremonies of
accomplishments, taking in workshops for educational and emotional growth -
art therapy, dance therapy, listening to their stories, helping them with
re-entry into society. Target Population: Women of all races Outcomes: Women are taught communication skills, self-esteem, how to make better choices, how to express themselves through the arts, awareness of their lives being valuable. Texas prisons no longer have rehabilitation programs. This program offers the women and opportunity for change. |
